Remote launches platform redesign with new features for global employers

JEFF.pngRemote, the leader in building, managing, and supporting global distributed workforces, today announced a redesign of the Remote platform used by thousands of companies to employ and pay tens of thousands of workers around the world. The new updates increase transparency and streamline workflows for businesses building global teams.

With nearly half of all businesses reporting an increase in the number of full-time employees working abroad, according to the 2023 Remote Workforce Report, Remote gives customers a simple way to onboard, pay, and manage their employees and contractors living anywhere in the world. The latest enhancements to the platform include:

  • A fresh new look and feel: The redesigned Remote platform makes it even easier to find important information and instantly access service-related items.
  • Manage direct employees in Remote: In addition to managing employees working via Remote's employer of record model, customers can now add their own employees to Remote. Businesses can run all their global employment needs in one platform, including storing employee details and documents, and tracking paid time off.
  • Transparent invoice timelines and payout dates for employers and independent contractors: Businesses can use Remote to manage and pay their contractors living in 150+ countries. New features enable both employers and contractors to track contractor payment timelines and payout dates in one centralised location.
  • Automated health checks around the world: Health checks are required in many countries around the world, ensuring employees are fit to perform their job duties and preventing health risks in the workplace. Remote has automated this process for over 14 countries, with more coming soon, to provide a speedier and more efficient process.

These updates are available globally to all Remote customers.
